Xeomin®
XEOMIN® is a neurotoxin (Incobotulinumtoxin A).
Neurotoxins, such as BOTOX® and XEOMIN® are prescription medications that block the release of chemicals that cause muscle contractions so frown lines are softened. XEOMIN® and BOTOX® can be used to treat wrinkles in the forehead, crows feet around eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, and bunny lines on the nose. Also used to treat a condition called hyperhidrosis, which is excessive sweating in the armpits and the palms of the hands.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are comprised of substances normally found in your skin. Belotero® is comprised of hyaluronic acid. Once injected, it binds with the water in the skin and helps to fill in the creases. Common areas of dermal filler placement are the nasolabial folds (the areas around the nose and the lips), cheeks, and marionette lines (vertical lines that run from the corners of the mouth to the chin).
Radiesse® is used to fill in areas in the face, such as cheeks, and also the hands to smooth out wrinkles. It also stimulates collagen production that will help to fill in areas where volume has been lost.
Vein Sclerotherapy
We use Asclera® (polidocanol) to treat spider veins and telangiectasias in the lower extremities. Polidocanol is a chemical that causes the inside of these blood vessels to break down and close. It is injected in small quantities into the small blood vessels (less than 3mm in diameter). At the end of the treatments, your legs will be free of these unsightly lines.

She completed her residency training at Jacobi Medical Center/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Murano is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. She is certified in neurotoxin and dermal filler injections as well as vein sclerotherapy. Physician
Dr. Cirilli is a graduate of Medical College of Wisconsin. She did residency training in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She moved to New York in 2008 for additional training in Emergency Ultrasound. Dr. Cirilli is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in New York. The Answers You Need
How much neurotoxin will I need?
Every patient is different. We will personalize your treatment to give you the effect you need. In general, the whole female face will require approximately 40 - 45 units of Botox® or Xeomin®, depending on individual needs. Men typically require more. individual areas of the face may require anywhere from 12 - 20 units.
How long will it take before I start to see the results of my treatment?
Depending on the type of neurotoxin used, results take anywhere from 3 - 10 days to take effect. For this reason, we will see you for repeat evaluation, if necessary, 2 weeks after first treatment.
How long does the effect of the neurotoxin last?
You may begin to see visible smoothing as early as 3-4 days after injection. The average individual will notice the first onset of effect less than a week. The maximum effect occurs 30 days after treatment. Clinical trials have shown that the typical duration of effect is up to 3 months but may last significantly longer or shorter in individual patients.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Individual results may vary, but BELOTERO BALANCE® may last about 6 months or more. Some factors that affect how long it lasts are the amount of product used and the area it is injected into. In areas that experience a lot of movement due to eating, talking, and smiling, the product may not last as long as other less active areas.
What if I am not happy with my results?
If you are unhappy with your results, you should contact us so we can evaluate you and come up with the best solution for you. Our goal is to get you the results you want.
Can I arrange to have a party or event at my house?
Yes! We are happy to come to your house for a party. Special incentives will be given to party coordinators. Please contact us if your are interested so we can help you plan.
Can I go to the gym or workout immediately after my treatment?
You should not work out or do any heavy exercise or yoga for 24 hours after treatment. This is to avoid moving product around to undesired locations. Take advantage of this time to relax and let your treatment take full effect.
